Bedding Sand

Bedding Sand

Ideal for use on construction sites in areas where sand is required to hold its shape. Bedding sand is a naturally occurring material with a high clay-to-fine-silt content. This ensures that it sets hard and stays in place, making it idea for use under concrete slabs and as a base for pipe laying.

Sand - Fine sand 1

Fine Sand

Carefully graded to a nominal size of less than 5 mm, this naturally occurring sand contains a high-level of fines on the 75 micron sieve. It is used as an asphalt filler and can be combined with coarser sand to produce finer concrete sand. It offers excellent drainage to plants in pots or planters and can also be used as a free-draining topdressing on lawns or sports fields, either on its own or blended with fertilisers.

Sand - Brickies loam

Brickies Loam

The choice of professional bricklayers, brickies loam (also known as “fatty” sand, brick sand or brickie’s sand) has a clay component of up to 30% by weight that makes it sticky. This provides the perfect blend to create mortar for retaining walls, pillars, grey blocks, and brick-laying.

It’s great for use in paving, filling and as bagging for walls and is also used in landscaping for indoor and outdoor pools. Our brickies loam is washed to remove impurities and screened and graded to ensure a consistent particle size.
