Ideal for use on construction sites in areas where sand is required to hold its shape. Bedding sand is a naturally occurring material with a high clay-to-fine-silt content. This ensures that it sets hard and stays in place, making it idea for use under concrete slabs and as a base for pipe laying.

Carefully graded to a nominal size of less than 5 mm, this naturally occurring sand contains a high-level of fines on the 75 micron sieve. It is used as an asphalt filler and can be combined with coarser sand to produce finer concrete sand. It offers excellent drainage to plants in pots or planters and can also be used as a free-draining topdressing on lawns or sports fields, either on its own or blended with fertilisers.

As the name suggests, this sand is used to cushion the impact of falls from playground equipment. Made up of decomposed granite (aka Deco), this sand has a distinctive orange-brown colour. It is used as a compacting material under slabs as well as for surfacing paths, parking lots and driveways. It is often used as ground covering in farm or machinery sheds. Deco is also used to cover urban, regional and national park walkways and heavy-use paths.
